The Education Leadership Review publishes one issue per year in the fall and will accept submissions for consideration until September 1. Submissions should be approximately 25 pages including references formatted in Microsoft Word. Manuscripts, including references, must follow the guidelines of the 7th Edition of the APA Manual to be considered. Tables should be formatted with the Insert Table command in Word, and placed in the text at the appropriate location. Do not separate tables and figures from the text and do not send them as separate files. ICPEL ELR seeks manuscripts that: 1-address the issues of diversity and improved school effectiveness 2-expand the intellectual boundaries and content of the knowledge base in educational leadership 3-demonstrate the linkage between practice and theory 4-promote greater understanding of issues of professionalism 5-unpack complex issues of improving leadership and leadership preparation 6-report exemplary research practices and/or research Manuscripts for review must be submitted through the ICPEL FastTrack system - http://icpel.expressacademic.org/login.php, a fully automated web-based manuscript management and tracking service that speeds up the review process, improves the quality of reviews, and enhances the experience of authors, reviewers, and editors while eliminating the need for administrative and other support staff. |
