International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation
The International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation (IJELP) is a nationally refereed, peer-reviewed journal of the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership (ICPEL) dedicated to advancing the preparation and professional development of educational leaders. Published annually in the spring, IJELP features empirical studies, conceptual papers, and practitioner-focused articles that examine leadership preparation programs, residency and internship models, program evaluation, and innovative approaches to developing P–20 school and district leaders. The journal emphasizes research-to-practice connections that strengthen principal, superintendent, and other leadership pipelines in diverse educational contexts

The International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation publishes one issue per year in the spring and will accept submissions for consideration annually until March 1. Submissions should approximately 25 pages including references formatted in Microsoft Word. . Manuscripts, including references, must follow the guidelines of the 7th Edition of the APA Manual to be considered. Tables should be formatted with the Insert Table command, and placed in the text at the appropriate location. Do not separate tables and figures from the text and do not send them as separate files. Manuscripts for review must be submitted through the ICPEL FastTrack system - http://icpel.expressacademic.org/login.php - a fully automated web-based manuscript management and tracking service that speeds up the review process, improves the quality of reviews, and enhances the experience of authors, reviewers, and editors while eliminating the need for administrative and other support staff. |
