Conference Theme: Challenges and Opportunities in Urban Education
The NCPEA conference in 2016 was held at the Detroit Renaissance Hotel.  The hotel is on the Detroit River and close to restaurants, Comerica Park (home of the Detroit Tigers), casinos, and many other attractions. Windsor, Ontario is minutes away via the tunnel that connects the two cities.
